Bringing Horizon to Life: Our Journey Toward Opening in Las Vegas

Before a practice can welcome its first patient, there is a great deal of work that happens quietly behind the scenes. Over the past few months, we have been doing that work: turning the idea of Horizon Dermatology and Aesthetics into a practice we look forward to sharing with Las Vegas.

Our planned opening is March 2027. There is still plenty to do, but we wanted to pause, share a little of the journey, and recognize how much care goes into getting to this point.

From an idea to the everyday details

Creating a dermatology practice means thinking beyond opening day. It means working through the details that will shape a patient’s experience: how people find us, how they prepare for a visit, how information is communicated, and how the practice will support their care.

We have been developing plans, organizing the work ahead, and building the website and educational resources that introduce Horizon to the community. Some progress is easy to see. Much of it happens through research, careful decisions, and revisiting the details until the next step becomes clearer.

It takes patience. It takes persistence. And it takes a willingness to keep working through the less visible parts of building something worthwhile.

Keeping future patients at the center

The reason for all of this preparation is simple: we want to create a place where people feel welcome, listened to, and comfortable asking questions about their skin.

As we prepare to offer medical, surgical, and cosmetic skin care, we keep returning to the experience we hope to provide: thoughtful care, clear communication, and attention to the person behind each appointment. Those are the priorities guiding the work now, long before the first visit.

Our future home will be in the Southern Hills Medical Office Building on West Sunset Road in Southwest Las Vegas. We are excited about the opportunity to become part of this community and earn the trust of the people who live and work here.

The work continues

Getting this far has taken a lot of effort, and we know there is much more ahead. The months leading up to March 2027 will be about continuing that preparation and bringing the remaining pieces together.

We will share more as opening approaches, including updates about the practice and introductions to our care team. For now, thank you for following along while Horizon takes shape. We look forward to the day we can welcome you through the doors.

Your skin, our specialty.
